A home from home environment
Treetops marks the beginning of your child's Duncombe education. We firmly believe that play is the foundation upon which children build their educational journey. Every activity at Treetops, whether it be exploring the sandpit, engaging with playdough, or venturing through Forest School, is thoughtfully designed with an educational focus and objective.
Your child's Key Worker takes on the responsibility of their personalised learning experience. Through regular one-on-one sessions, they form a deep understanding of your child and their abilities, fostering a strong connection and tailored approach to their development.
We warmly welcome children to Early Kindergarten after they turn 2 years old, with a natural transition to Kindergarten the term they turn three.

Building firm foundations
As children embark on their Early Kindergarten and Kindergarten journey, we gently introduce them to the vibrant world of school life. Through a well-structured daily timetable consisting of activities such as carpet time and music lessons, children grasp the concept of structure, rules, and expectations.
Both morning and afternoon sessions offer a balanced mix of group phonics and numeracy sessions, opportunities for free play, as well as adult-led activities and child-initiated learning. Each session focuses on fostering communication and language development, social and emotional growth, and physical development. While each day brings something new and exciting, the joy of imaginative learning remains constant for our children.
To support their wellbeing, we provide nutritious and wholesome snacks throughout the day for all children. For those attending morning and all-day sessions, a nourishing hot lunch is also provided, ensuring their energy and focus are sustained.
Personalised Learning
While we use the Early Years Foundation Stage as the basis for a balanced curriculum, we tailor our teaching and learning to meet the specific needs of individual children, building on their strengths, supporting them in areas of challenge, and helping them to achieve success on their own terms.
